Hi Karl

I am pleased to bring you a preview of the next release from MT Miniatures in 1/1250th scale. She is the Brittany Ferry MV Normandie and she will be available soon (within the next 4 to 6 weeks). I expect the price fo her to be the same as for MV Bretagne at £37.95 painted and £23.95 for a kit. The reference number of the model is MM454KP.

Please not this is a pre-production master and the model may vary slightly once in production.

If you would like to place a preorder for the Normandie please do. I will only invoice you once the models are ready.

danke für die Info, auch wenn das Produkt leider - mal wieder - total ärgerlich ist!

Nicht nur dass dieses Modell diverse offenkundige Fehler enthält (falscher Knickspant, falsche Rettungsboote, Rettungsinseln usw.), es stellt sich mir auch erneut die Frage - wie schon bei Mountfords "BRETAGNE" - warum an den Seiten die blauen Fensterstreifen als "Regale" dargestellt werden ....

Im Original ist sie so ein schönes Schiff, welches als Modell bestimmt einige Sammler begeistern würde - aber bitte nicht so!

Wirklich schade nur, dass sich wahrscheinlich kein anderer Hersteller jetzt noch diesem Schiff annehmen wird.

Grundsätzlich gebe ich Dir recht, Sönke. Aber...
Vielleicht werden die 'Regale' noch gefüllt?! Zum Beispiel mit blauen Kunststoffstreifen wie damals bei der "Europa"/"Silja Europa".
Vielleicht wirkt der falsche Knickspant nach dem Bemalen gar nicht mehr so verkehrt.

Mal abwarten, was am Ende herauskommt.

Na sooo schlimm scheint mir der Rohling ja nicht zu sein. Problematisch ist oft eher das Finish.

Bei schlechtem Rohling würde auch ein gutes Finish wenig helfen....
